This ProClip Vehicle Angled Mount is a custom made car specific mount. The mount attaches to the side of the center console, angled slightly towards the driver. It provides the perfect mounting platform for your device holder so you don't have to fumble around for your device anymore. The ProClip Angled Mount is a very sturdy mounting bracket that clips tightly into the seams of the dashboard. No drilling holes or dismantling of the dashboard is required, simply clip on in seconds.
Device Holder NOT included, sold separately.
Comes with a pre-drilled hole pattern for device attachment (might not be shown in photo). This is a suggested placement pattern only. A device holder can easily be attached anywhere on the face plate.
Notice: Consider how the device, or horizontal position, will fit the location and could interfere with other vehicle functions.

I was hesitate to get this after seeing the other 2 reviews but went ahead as all my other proclivity purchases have been great. This mount works great. Not sure if it's been redesigned or the others didn't know how to install. Thanks again for another great product.

It's the perfect spot for the phone but the top of the clip on the dash is not secure. Clipping above the button insert (to the actual hard plastic), instead of below (soft dash) may ensure a secure fit. OR, make the "C" tighter so the tension on the top of Mount is way tighter. The weight of the phone makes it pull off.
I made sure it was installed properly as well.
May add some double sided tape or find a different mount. Not sure yet.

We will take your suggestions into consideration for a possible redesign. For this specific mount, the bottom seam needs to be fully inserted and hooked upward into the dash seams. The top seam also needs to be inserted very deep to get a solid hold onto the dash. Please make sure both angled edges are seated deeply into the seams for a solid hold.

PUProClip USA1 year agoHello Elijah, thank you for providing some feedback. Step #1 when installing this vehicle mount is very important. You need to press down in the seam with the bottom angled edge while simultaneously rotating the mount upward to connect the top angled edge. Make sure the bottom angled edge is pressed down far enough into the gap and then hook the top edge by seating/ hooking it into the top seam. This mount needs to be seated deep enough in both top/bottom seams to provide a solid hold. Also, we see you are docking a larger smartphone with heavy/thick rugged style phone case. Please make sure you are adjusting the phone holder correctly to hold your phone with rugged case. Making the phone holder too tight will cause your car mounting base to potentially dislodge when docking and undocking the phone from the tight adjustable holder.
