This ProClip Vehicle Center Mount is a custom made car specific mount. The mount attaches to the center area of the car dashboard. It provides the perfect mounting platform for your device holder so you don't have to fumble around for your device anymore. The ProClip Center Mount is a very sturdy mounting bracket that clips tightly into the seams of the dashboard. No drilling holes or dismantling of the dashboard is required, simply clip on in seconds.

Comes with a pre-drilled hole pattern for device attachment (might not be shown in photo). This is a suggested placement pattern only. A device holder can easily be attached anywhere on the face plate.

Fits perfectly and includes mounting holes pre-drilled which are not seen in the picture, so it will work with all ProClip device holders. Mine has been going rock solid for years now and I've been able to switch between a few different device mounts.
NOTE: There's a good chance your phone will be in direct sunlight at times, so it can overheat (especially if you're charging it too). Luckily it is right in front of the air vent, so cooling can be easily done with the AC.

Sadly after looking at it in the car, we will be sending back. The clip and mount itself is a great idea and would work great if we had the same factory radio as what is in the website pictures. Our Altima has the knobs on top. Also with the AZ heat, once the phone is attached, that vent is pretty much cooling the back of the phone and nothing else. Love the idea and attachment. It would be great if there was a way to choose “left” or “right” side of the radio for the clip mount. The phone would be slightly farther away from the driver if mounted on the “passenger” side., but would leave the vents and controls wide open. Bummed.

Any after-market modification to the dashboard that could change the dashboard seams where the ProClip mount attaches could negatively affect proper fitment.

The mount did last beyond the warranted period. However. It should last longer. The issue is with the thin section that attaches to the AC vent. if you are not super careful it pops out of location. over time this causes the mount to crack in this thin area. May I suggest that a small piece of stainless steel be incorporated into the mount in this section preventing the bracket from splitting. Or have it made completely of Stainless Steel Sheet.
