This ProClip Vehicle Center Mount is a custom made car specific mount. The mount attaches to the center area of the car dashboard. It provides the perfect mounting platform for your device holder so you don't have to fumble around for your device anymore. The ProClip Center Mount is a very sturdy mounting bracket that clips tightly into the seams of the dashboard. No drilling holes or dismantling of the dashboard is required, simply clip on in seconds.
Device Holder NOT included, sold separately.
Comes with a pre-drilled hole pattern for device attachment (might not be shown in photo). This is a suggested placement pattern only. A device holder can easily be attached anywhere on the face plate.
Notice: Consider how the device, or horizontal position, will fit the location and could interfere with other vehicle functions.

After my experience with a ProClip mount in my other car (a 1990 Mercedes W126), this mount far surpassed my expectations. Instead of sliping upward(!) into a panel gap and resting on the sloped surface of the dash, this mount snaps into _two_ horizontal panel gaps and thus has good vertical support. With my large LG V20 inserted, it doesn't sag or come loose, even when traveling on very bumpy roads. I wasn't sure how much it would occlude the air vent in the dash but I haven't noticed any difference in cooling. This mount is well worth what I paid for it.

Having a ProClip mount in my vehicle that is rock solid, I purchased this mount for my wife's car. I am disappointed with the mount because it flexes when I am using the phone while in the mount. This is due to the distance from the mounting positions. I put something behind the mount and against the dash just to try. This made it more solid when pressing on the phone. But it does get the phone out of the cup holder.

It works relatively well except you have to tighten parts of it with a screwdriver every 6 months or so.
I've had to replace both the mount and the holder over the last few years. For this price you'd assume better than a 1 year warranty. The plastic that mounts inside the car can snap if it's struck by something.
If the total price was under $50 I might consider buying again, but not at the current price.

Also, we cannot guarantee a mount will not be damaged if struck by something.
