I've had this car since Dec '15, I've gone through several mounts in this time, mostly due to those dang round center vents. They aren't strong enough to hold my phones (Samsung Galaxy line). And as much as I love the dash in my car, it's got a surface texture that most suction cups REFUSE to stick to (long term).
I had gotten around that by mounting to the wind shield... Yeah, the view out the front is limited, most phones I use are HUGE, so they block a good bit. Add a dash cam & a easy-pass, too much loss of space.
I tried to attach it to the glove box, but it also has a texture so even the best suction cup fails.
After buying the newer Magic Mount Pro, and it falling off the 3rd time... It broke. Nope! Had enough.
Thankfully, this company finally made a mount that works. I do wish it was not on the center of the dash, it did block one vent (ac & heat) but I'm not gonna complain because it works.
Super easy to install, it clips right into place on the dash. I did read other reviews, so I picked up the tilt mount and used that so the phone doesn't sit too flat (hard to see & reflections!). They do sell an adapter plate, so I am able to use my Magic Mount Pro (after scosche thankfully replaced the broken one) so I'm a happy camper now.

Great Dash Mount. It is stiff enough where it won't move on its own, but loose enough where you can slide it around if you want it adjusted without having to take it off. (I'm not sure if that was by design).
I purchased this a year ago (Feb 2018) and it's still in great condition and I've not had any issues with it at all.
I just finished purchasing a custom mount for my 2013 Ford Fusion. So I hope is as good of quality as this dash mount is.

I struggled to find a phone mount for my 2016 Mustang that did not leave a trace, and was solid. This is that mount. These guys do a great job of designing a mount that fits that bill.

I bought this for my 2017 Ford Mustang, and it works great. It's easy install and stable. However, I use this with a Garmin Ball Mount Adapter, and the angle which it mounts makes my GPS point too far up. I view this as a problem with the ball mount, not this mount, as I would want the mount to maintain as much of the dash profile as possible. I gave this item a 4 star, as I now have to order a 10 or 15 degree wedge adapter, at an additional $12. I don't mind paying for it, but there should have been a warning, consider this yours.
