Adjustable Holder for Rugged Cases (for iPhone 11, 11 Pro, XS, XR, X, SE 2020)

Leased a 2020 new car a few months ago. I looked on Amazon to try on different car mounts for my iPhone XR in the Otter Commuter case. I have an issue with dashboard mounts because there is a potential that cops can pull you over and give you a thick ticket. Vent mount doesn't really work for me because it is too narrow and probably cannot hold my iPhone in the thick and heavy case. So my option is really limited. I found a mount that has two-part construction like Pro-Clip. But it is made in China, selling for $35 per, claiming to fit in between the middle of the two vents on CR-V 2020. I bought it, it kind of worked. My phone was kind of too thick for it, so every time taking out the phone is a pain. I used it for about 1 month and the little hinges on the flimsy plastic mount broke. I didn't even drive that often. I only went shopping once per week. So it tells you much about its quality. Unfortunately, I could not even get a refund or return the product because it has just passed the 30 days return period. I felt pretty frustrated that I wasted $35. I searched for so long and finally found Pro-clip. Yes, it is pricey, you have to spend a total of $70 for the two-part system. But at least it looks like it can last. It is made of ABS plastic, you cannot find anything like that among made-in-china products on Amazon. And if you have this car and this phone for long, this kind of investment is worth it. It is better than potentially wasting a couple of $35 on Amazon and ended up throwing the junk away. I would highly recommend this product to my friend.
