Very satisfied with this holder. Phone slides in/out easily, perfectly aligns with USB-C plug every time. The Android Auto feature on my pioneer stereo requires USB connection to phone. Got tired of the annoying usb wire attached to my phone lying on the console... was always getting tangled up and disconnected often. This clip has absolutely solved the problem. Superb quality and design. Well worth the price tag ! Highly recommended

I've had one of these holders (micro-USB version, but otherwise the same) for years, and it's held up well (I did have to get a replacement for my first one as the ball joint quickly wore out, causing it to droop) and works very well. Unfortunately, I prefer using my phone in landscape mode in the car, and when turned sideways, the sides aren't tall/long enough to hold onto the phone very well, causing it to constantly slide out, especially on turns, and end up at an angle, barely hanging on. I have to push it back in every few minutes, which is very annoying and distracting. I'm going to have to either modify it somehow or buy something else. I came here hoping they'd improved the design, but it looks like they haven't changed anything except the plug (C instead of micro). If the plug would go into the phone all the way, that would probably hold onto it and keep it in place, but my "universal" holder has the plug slightly offset front-to-back from the plane of my phone, so they don't line up well and the plug doesn't seat very well.
