This ProClip dash mount is custom-made for your VW Golf starting in 2013 (see compatibility tab for full list of years). The mount attaches to the dashboard just above the center vent. Combine with a ProClip device holder to make a custom mounting solution. In addition to mounting regular holders for a phone or GPS, this extra-strength platform can support tablets or other heavier devices. This mount can also be used for off-road driving. The ProClip Center Mount is a very sturdy mounting bracket that clips tightly into the existing seams of the dashboard. No drilling holes or dismantling of the dashboard is required, simply clip on in seconds.

Works well and keeps the device below the field of view but does not obstruct the vents. Pretty strong up and down but a little loose side to side. A little pricy but worth it to keep things out of the windshield.
