So, if your a 2012 RAV4 owner, and have the basic stereo with Bluetooth, this is the place you would want to mount an after market device to fill in the blanks - like music maps and all that. I used this mount to get a clean flat surface, and then used a magnetic style connector on it to get exactly what i wanted. Fit into the spot well, does not wobble, so far so good.

It will not work with the after market radio faceplate in my car. Evidently the faceplate is thicker than the oem faceplate and the proclip pops out every time I try to install it.

Aftermarket dashboard modifications including any new buttons, screens or radios may cause the ProClip vehicle mount to not fit properly. Our mounting bases use the existing OEM dashboard seams to connect and when these are modified the mount will not fit as designed.
