I love ProClip Products. I wouldn't even consider buying anything else. Unfortunately, this hard-wired charging holder is junk. I've gone through 2 of these units (1 under warranty) and one outside of warranty. Several months after using it, the holder will stop charging your phone. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to determine if the fault has to do with the micro usb connection, the wiring, or the connection to your power source. Since I've had these professionally installed, I'm charged by the installer every time I want them to troubleshoot or diagnose the problem. I'm going to remove this holder and order a different one that doesn't have the hard-wired connection. I'll simply plug a charger that I buy elsewhere into my phone and not use ProClip's hard wired solution.

The failure rate on holders featuring hard-wired installation is very low with only a handful of customers reporting negative feedback.
