This adapter plate has 2 T prongs extending out from the base plate. Unhook your device from your windshield suction cup mount and slide it onto the 2 T prong adapter used in combination with our Vehicle Mount. The 2 T prong system is used with most Magellan?s, the HP branded iPAQ rx5000 Car Cradle, and many other devices as well. NOTE: Some of the early releases of various Magellan devices only use 1 T prong. If so, please select the 1 T Prong Vehicle Adapter listed below. If you are not sure what you have, just unhook your device from the suction cup mount and you can easily see if you have a 1 prong or 2 prong T extending from the mount.

About the 2 Prong (Dual T) Vehicle Mount Adapter The 2 Prong (Dual T) Vehicle Mount Adapter attaches to the vehicle Dashboard mount and provides a more secure and convenient placement of your device in the car. Just unhook your device/device cradle from the Windshield Suction Cup Mount and hook it onto the 2 Prong (Dual T) Vehicle Mount Adapter. You can easily unhook the device from the dashboard and take it with you into a rental car, RV, boat etc. using your Windshield Suction Cup Mount. Keep all your devices on the dashboard If you have more than one device you would like to have on your dashboard, we may have the solution. Usually we have 2 or more mounts for each vehicle model so you can have all your devices securely attached on your dashboard. Many of todays customers order two or more mounts - usually one for their mobile phone and one for their Handheld and/or Music Player like the General Picture below illustrates.
