The Vertical slot Mount uses the vertical slot in the back of the monitor. |
The Monitor slides down onto the mount. The upper bolt on the mount is a steering pin and the the other screw is inside of the vertical slot in the Monitor. When the monitor is fully slid down onto the mount the thumb screw is tightened and the Monitor is securely attached. |
The Tilt Swivel on the back of the mount can tilt 15 degrees in any direction and swivel 360 degrees. The Tilt Swivel provides easy adjustment of your Monitors position for better viewing. You can also adjust the Monitor to avoid unnecessary light reflection. (The Monitor shown in the picture to the left is attached to a ProClip Dashboard Mount) |
The Tilt Swivel Base Plate on the back of the Tilt Swivel can be attached to any flat surface or mounting brackett. The base plate comes with 6 pre-drilled holes; 2 holes in a center line and 4 holes in an almost square like pattern to accommodate the AMPS hole pattern. Enclosed in the packaging are 2 self tapping screws and 4 machine screws with nuts. |

| Note: The Monitor Mount can be attached to any mounting bracket or flat surface with the enclosed screws. The installation pictures below show an installation onto an easily self-install ProClip Dashboard Mount. With this mount you use the self-tapping screws. With most other mounting brackets you will have to use the machine screws with nuts. |
1. Unscrew the screw in the center of the mount and remove the mount from the Tilt Swivel base plate. Place the Tilt Swivel base plate onto the lower part of the ProClip Dashboard Mount so the center-lined holes in the base plate match the center-lined holes in the ProClip Dashboard Mount. Screw one of the enclosed self-tapping screws through the hole in the Tilt Swivel base plate and into the hole on the lower part of the ProClip Dashboard Mount. |
2. Screw one of the enclosed self-tapping screws through the hole in the Tilt Swivel base plate and into the hole on the upper part of the ProClip Dashboard Mount. |
3. Place the mount onto the Tilt Swivel base plate and attach it with the previously removed screw. This screw also controls the pivot, tighter for a firm hold and lose for more (easier) movement/ angling of the mount.
4. The Monitor Mount is now in place and ready for the monitor to be attached. |
5. Loosen the thumb screw on the back of the Monitor mount and push it so the screw head on the other side sticks out. Then slide the monitor down onto the screw head. Make sure that the rubber ring on the steering pin is on the out side of the vertical slot. |
6. Tighten the thumb screw to secure the monitor. |
7. The monitor securely in place on a ProClip Dashbaord Mount using the Vertical slot Monitor Mount. |
